1. What is a toolbar?

The toolbar is an all in one convenience tool and with the Rediff toolbar, the Internet is just a click away. Search for anything you require and click on 'Go'. The Rediff toolbar also lets you access all the services of Rediff.com, easily. Everything that you need is available in a single click. Eg. Rediffmail, Rediff Bol, Rediff News etc.

The Rediff tool bar is divided into:
Explore Rediff: Access all the services of Rediff.com from here.
Search Web: Jobs, Air fares, People, new Products or the Web, get all that you are searching for, easily.
Pop up blocker: Block those annoying pop up ads.
Pop up blocker: Block those annoying pop up ads.
News: Access all the latest news and headlines from Rediff news.
Mail: Read mails, Write mails, Check mails from other accounts or look up for contacts from your address book, faster.
Show Bol/ Download Bol: Click on 'Show Bol' and login to Rediff Bol directly. If you don't have Bol, click 'Download Bol' to download the new Rediff Bol. Staying in touch with friends and family was never this simple.
Options: This is the master control that lets you modify all your toolbar settings.

3. What is Explore Rediff? How do I use it?

With Explore Rediff, you can choose and access any of the services on Rediff.com.
Click on the arrow next to it to have a list of all the available services on Rediff.com.

4. What is Search? How do I use it?

With 'Search' you can look up for Jobs, Air fares, People, new Products or the Web.
To search the Web, simply enter your key word in the space provided and click 'Go'.
We also have a goodie for you, type a URL (e.g. www.rediff.com) and it will open in your browser.

5. How do I Search for jobs?

To search for jobs, choose 'Jobs' by clicking the arrow on 'Search'.
Type the job you are looking for (eg. accountant, writer, media).
Then choose the desired location and click 'Go'.
Find all the jobs you are searching for on 'Rediff Jobs', which brings you the best jobs in the industry.

6. How do I Search for Air tickets?

To search for air tickets, choose 'Air Fare' by clicking the arrow on the Search button.
Choose the destinations (eg. From Mumbai to Calcutta).
Then choose the desired date and click 'Go'.
Find the cheapest Air Fares on 'Rediff Fare Search'.

7. How do I Search for People?

To search for People, choose 'Search People' by clicking the arrow on the Search button.
Type the name of the person you are looking for (eg. Nikhil Rao, Namrata Shah).
Then click 'Go'.
Connect with people on 'Rediff Connexions'.
Note: It would be best to search with the full name of a person for better results.

8. How do I Search for Products?

To search for Products, choose 'Search Products' by clicking the arrow on the Search button.
Select the category, brand and price.
Then click 'Go'.
Find the best product prices & compare on 'Rediff Product Search'.

9. What is Highlight?
|

|
'Highlight' is used to mark the term that you are searching for.
Just click on 'Highlight' to mark the term you are looking for.
The marked words appear highlighted in Green.

10. What is Pop up blocker?

'Pop up blocker' is used to block all the annoying pop up ads.

11. What is News?

Click 'News' for your daily dose of all the latest happening in the world, brought to you by Rediff News.
|
12. What is Mail?

Click on mail to reach the Rediffmail login on the home page.
Once you have logged in, you can Read/Write mails, check your address book and also read mails from other accounts, if your Rediffmail is configured for the same.
To log out, click Log out on the tool bar.

13. What is Show Bol?

'Show Bol' opens up the Rediff Bol window for you to log in. Log in and stay in touch with your family and friends all over the world.
If you do not have Rediff Bol, 'Show Bol' changes to 'Download Bol'.
Click on 'Download Bol' to download the latest version of Rediff Bol for yourself.

14. What is Options?

'Options' is the master control of your Rediff Tool Bar.
It allows you to Hide/Show services from the Rediff Tool Bar.
